Peter Marrone is the Executive Chairman of Yamana Gold Inc., which he founded in 2003. He has more than 35 years of mining, business, and capital markets experience. He has been on the boards of a number of public companies and has advised companies with a strong South American and North American presence. Mr. Marrone currently sits on the board of directors of Aris Gold Corporation.
Prior to Yamana, Mr. Marrone was the head of investment banking at a major Canadian investment bank and before that practiced law in Toronto with a strong focus on corporate law, securities law and international transactions.

Frank Holmes is the CEO and chief investment officer of U.S. Global Investors (NASDAQ: GROW). Mr. Holmes purchased a controlling interest in U.S. Global Investors in 1989 and became the firm’s chief investment officer in 1999. He is the co-author of The Goldwatcher: Demystifying Gold Investing. Over 100,000 subscribers follow his weekly commentary in the award-winning Investor Alert newsletter, across social channels and in his Frank Talk blog, which is read in over 180 countries.

Douglas B. Silver
Douglas B. Silver has experienced a wide-ranging career in the minerals industry, ranging from prospecting geologist to portfolio manager. He served in various roles for Anaconda Copper Company, Noranda, Bond International Gold, Orion Resource Partners and his private company - Balfour Holdings. Mr. Silver is best known to Canadian investors for founding, building and ultimately selling International Royalty Corporation for a handsome premium. Douglas also founded the Denver Gold Group, the preeminent gold investment forum.
In his spare time, Douglas is a well-known mineral economist, keynote speaker and author. He has testified three times to the U.S. Congress on mining-related issues. Mr. Silver’s strong interest in education and women’s issues has kept him busy serving on advisory boards for the University of Arizona and Colorado School of Mines. Douglas was inducted into the U.S. National Mining Hall of Fame and Museum in September 2018.

Kelsey Gunderson was appointed as CEO of Laurentian Bank Securities and the EVP, Capital Markets of Laurentian Bank of Canada in 2019. From 2007 to 2019 he was in various roles at BMO Capital Markets including Global Head of Trading Products where he was responsible for the trading-related businesses for the bank. He also held the role of co-Head of Global Equity Products where he was responsible for Cash Equities and Equity Derivatives, Research and Economics. Prior to joining BMO Capital Markets in 2007, Mr. Gunderson was at Credit Suisse Group in New York and at CIBC in Toronto. He has been a member of United Way of Toronto and York Region Major Individual Giving Cabinet and currently sits on the Board of the Bishop Strachan School Foundation as well as the Loran Scholarship Foundation, where he chairs the Investment Committee. He holds an MBA from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of British Columbia.

Egizio Bianchini joined Stifel GMP in January 2021 as Head of Metals & Mining Investment Banking. Egizio was Executive Vice-Chairman and Board Member at Ivanhoe Mines from March 2018 to September 2020. Prior to this, Egizio served as Co-Head of the Global Metals & Mining Group, and as Vice Chairman from April 2011 to March 2018. With more than 30 years’ experience in the metals and mining financial services sector, Mr. Bianchini has an extensive track record in advising a wide range of metals and mining companies around the world and in structuring and executing initial public offerings and other capital raisings.

Mr. Brisson joined SOQUEM in January 2021. With a bachelor’s degree in geology from the Université du Québec à Chicoutimi, Mr. Brisson has held several senior positions with exploration and mining companies in Quebec, Ontario and North Africa.
A member of the Order of Geologists of Quebec, Mr. Brisson has 30 years of experience in precious and base metal exploration, mine development and mining operations. He has worked for several public companies, notably Goldcorp, Iamgold, Breakwater Resources, Cambior, Focus Graphite and Cogitore Resources. Prior to join SOQUEM, he was an exploration consultant for junior and major mining companies in Quebec and Ontario since 2015.
Mr. Brisson has served on the boards of directors for several junior exploration companies and the Quebec Mineral Exploration Association.

Michel Brutti is passionate about responsible and impact investing. He is currently the President and Founder of Clear Skies Investment Management, an impact investing firm in Montreal. Up until recently, Michel Brutti was a Senior Partner and Portfolio Manager at Jarislowsky Fraser, where he served as a member of the firm’s Investment Strategy Committee and the Sustainable Investment Committee, promoting the Principles of Responsible Investing. He managed the firm’s Global and International Equity portfolios for over 20 years, as well as investments for financial institutions and family offices.
Michel holds a CFA Charter, an MBA from the University of Toronto, a Computer Engineering degree from the University of Compiègne. Michel is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), and a SASB FSA Credential-holder.
Michel is a board member of the Fonds d’Action Québecois pour le Développement Durable (FAQDD). He sits on the Investment Committees of the Ottawa Green Municipal Fund and the Greater Montreal Climate Fund; the Investment Review Committee of the Inuit Makivik Corporation and the Investment Committee of Ecofuel, a clean tech accelerator fund; Michel is a member of the Canada Forum for Impact Investment and Development (CAFIID) and is a member of the Quebec SASB group.
Associate Deputy Minister of Mines, Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources
Nathalie Camden has been Associate Deputy Minister of Mines at the Ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles since June 2018. Ms. Camden began her career in the Québec public service in 1992 at the Ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles, where she was promoted to Director of Aboriginal Affairs in 1998. She has held several management positions in different sectors of this ministry (Forestry and Mining) and was Associate Deputy Minister of Wildlife from 2009 to 2014.
From 2015 to 2017, she served as Assistant Secretary to the Northern Development Secretariat and the Société du Plan Nord, where she actively participated in the creation of the latter as a strategic advisor to the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Société. From June 2017 to June 2018, she was Assistant Deputy Minister of Business Partnerships and Customer Services at the Ministère du Tourisme. She has been a member of the board of directors of the Agence de Revenu du Québec since 2017. Ms. Camden obtained her bachelor’s degree in political science from Université Laval in 1987, with a specialization in American politics and economics from Assumption College in Worcester, United States. She completed a certificate in administration in 1995 at Université Laval.
Mme Nathalie Camden est sous-ministre associée aux Mines au ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles depuis juin 2018. Mme Camden a débuté sa carrière dans la fonction publique québécoise en 1992 au ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles où elle est promue, en 1998, directrice des Affaires autochtones. Elle a occupé plusieurs postes de gestion dans ce ministère dans différents secteurs (Forêts et Mines) et a été sous-ministre associée à la Faune de 2009 à 2014.
De 2015 à 2017, elle assume la fonction de secrétaire adjointe au Secrétariat au développement nordique et à la Société du Plan Nord où elle a participé activement à la création de celle-ci à titre de conseillère stratégique auprès du président-directeur général de la Société. De juin 2017 à juin 2018, elle exerce la responsabilité de sous-ministre adjointe aux Partenariats d’affaires et aux Services à la clientèle au ministère du Tourisme. Elle est membre du conseil d’administration de l’Agence de Revenu du Québec depuis 2017. Mme Camden a obtenu son baccalauréat en sciences politiques à l’Université Laval en 1987, avec une spécialisation en politique et économie américaines de l’Assumption College à Worcester aux États-Unis. Elle a complété un certificat en administration en 1995 à l’Université Laval.

Daniella Dimitrov is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of IAMGOLD Corporation and joined IAMGOLD in March 2021. She oversees all aspects of finance, information technology and investor relations. Ms. Dimitrov joined us from Sprott Capital Partners, where she was Partner, Investment Banking. Prior to Sprott, she served as President and CEO and as CFO of Orvana Minerals, as Executive Vice Chair of Baffinland Iron, as COO of Dundee Securities, and in various corporate development roles in mining and financial services. Ms. Dimitrov also brings 15+ years of governance experience with the Canadian Securities Administrators, Ontario’s Mining Advisory Group and as a director of several mining companies. She holds a Global Executive M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management and Schulich School of Business as well as a law degree from the University of Windsor. Ms. Dimitrov was chosen as one of the Top 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining for 2016 and speaks frequently on various topics including capital management, talent management and ESG.

Mr. Jocelyn Douhéret joined the Société du Plan Nord in April 2016 as Director of the Business Development Office. Previously, Mr. Douhéret had been involved in the mining industry for more than 10 years as business development director and then vice-president of a mining services company. From 1998 to 2006, he worked for Québec companies on industrial development projects in Eastern Europe, Latin America and Canada, particularly in the natural resources, energy and environment sectors. Mr. Douhéret began his career as scientific attaché at the French Embassy in Slovakia in 1996. He holds a master’s degree in science from Laval University in Quebec (Canada – 1996) and an engineering degree from the National School of Agricultural Engineers of Dijon (France – 1994).

Matthieu’s passion is to bring capital excellence to project owners with a specific focus on capital investment strategy and portfolio optimization, project-development excellence, and project-value improvement. In that function, Matthieu actively serves leading organizations in base and precious metals, electric power, fertilizers, iron ore, oil and gas, and steel.
He also helps global professional services, construction, and aerospace and defense companies shape their growth and improve operational performance through deploying lean, agile, and digital solutions.
Matthieu worked in Europe, the Far East, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia prior to moving to North America in 2012.
Matthew Gordon got his grounding in private equity before moving into investment & merchant banking. He now runs a family office in London UK. He has worked across Africa, India and South America on private equity, M&A transactions and SWF structures. Although starting off in the technology space, he found himself drawn to natural resources because of his time in Africa, and is now investing in a variety of sectors. Following the introduction of MiFID 2, he started Crux Investor with the aim of making it easier for family offices (& retail investors) to get accurate and unbiased information with which to make better investment decisions, something he thought might last 6 months. Three years later it is one of the largest natural resource investment platforms in the world.

M Jonathan Lafontaine est Responsable du suivi des activités d’exploration minière au ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles depuis aout 2020. M Lafontaine a gradué en géologie de l’Université Laval en 2001 avec un échange académique à l’Université d’Alberta, et a obtenu une maitrise en géologie de l’université du Nouveau-Brunswick en 2007. Il a commencé sa carrière en Saskatchewan pour une société d’exploration et d’exploitation d’uranium et a poursuivi sa carrière en tant que géologue au Nouveau-Brunswick, au Québec et en Saskatchewan. Parmi ses succès, il a contribué à la découverte du projet Matoush, découverte de l’année au Québec en 2008, ce qui lui a permis de faire reconnaître une nouvelle catégorie de gîte par l’AIEA.
Entre 2013 et 2020, il a assumé plusieurs rôles dans les champs de développement corporatif et investissements miniers, et a géré des comités techniques de calibre international et canadien pour l’ISO et le CCN afin d’avancer les normes d’hydrogène, un enjeu significatif pour l’électrification. Depuis le début de sa carrière professionnelle, il s’est intéressé à de multiples commodités, et a été rattaché à des projets représentant le spectre complet du processus d’exploration à la mise en valeur. M Lafontaine est inscrit sur le tableau d’ordres professionnels du Québec, du Nouveau-Brunswick et de la Saskatchewan.
M Jonathan Lafontaine started his current role as the Mining exploration activity monitor for the ministère de l’Énergie et des Ressources naturelles in August 2020. M Lafontaine graduated with a B.Sc. in geology from Laval University in 2001 including an academic exchange with the University of Alberta, and graduated with a M.Sc. in geology from the University of New Brunswick in 2007. He began his professional career in Saskatchewan for a uranium exploration and mining company and pursued professional interests as a geologist in New Brunswick, Quebec and Saskatchewan. Among his successes, he contributed to the discovery of the Matoush project, Quebec’s discovery of the year in 2008, which helped him convince the IAEA to now recognize it as a new deposit type.
Between 2013 and 2020, he has assumed several different roles in the fields of corporate development and mining investments, and he managed technical committees in the field of hydrogen standardization at both the international and Canadian levels for ISO and SCC respectively, with hydrogen a significant path in the field in electrification. Since the beginning of his career, he has been involved with several commodities and numerous projects representing the entire mineral development process. M Lafontaine is a registered professional in Québec, du New-Brunswick and Saskatchewan.

Ms. Mehta is a professional engineer registered in Quebec, and a founding member of Women in Mining (WIM) Montreal. She is the General Manager of Joint Ventures at Rio Tinto Aluminium and has served on the Azimut Board since 2018.
Ms. Angelina Mehta has over 20 years’ experience in the fields of finance and engineering and is currently working as General Manager of Joint Ventures at Rio Tinto Aluminium. She was previously Director, Mining Investment Banking at Laurentian Bank Securities Inc and Senior Mining Advisor with Paradigm Capital Inc. in Investment Banking, as well as Vice President of Operations for North American Nickel. Over the years, she served as Investment Manager for Sentient Asset Management Canada and held various operational positions for multiple mining companies, including Rio Tinto’s subsidiary, Iron Ore Company of Canada.
Ms. Mehta holds a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering and an MBA from McGill University, as well as a Master of Law degree from the Osgoode Hall Law School of York University. Ms. Mehta has served on the Board of Directors for several publicly listed junior mining companies including Pershimco, Meridian Mining, Stornoway Diamond, and Falco Resources. She also served on the Women in Mining Canada Board for five years and is currently a Director for Fondation du Grand Montreal.

Mr. Selby is a founder of Canada Nickel Company and was formerly President & CEO of RNC Minerals (Royal Nickel Corporation) where he led a team that successfully raised over $100 million and advanced the Dumont nickel-cobalt project from initial resource to a fully permitted, construction-ready project. He has held several senior management roles with Quadra Mining, Inco, and Purolator Courier, and was a partner at Mercer Management Consulting.
Since 2001, Mr. Selby has been recognized as one of the leading authorities on the nickel market. He graduated from Queen's University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and has also served on the boards of multiple junior mining companies.
